Our Atta Flour is a stone-milled flour made for traditional Indian flatbreads like chapati, roti, paratha, naan, and puri. It’s a 50/50 blend of hard white winter wheat and soft white winter wheat, sifted finer than our standard whole wheat to give you the soft, pliable dough these breads need. The all-white wheat blend keeps the colour light and the flavour mild and slightly sweet, without the tannic edge you’d get from red wheat. And because it’s still a true whole grain flour, you get all the bran, germ, and the naturally occurring vitamins, minerals and fibre found in the grain.
